About the Song
“Lifestyle” is a celebratory Afrobeats record from Lil Kesh, released on June 21, 2024. The song was produced by Jhay2unez and released through YAGI Records and Ziiki Media. With its upbeat delivery and confident attitude, the record captures Lil Kesh reflecting on how far he has come while embracing the freedom and comfort that success can bring.
The song arrived during a period when Lil Kesh was continuing to reconnect with the energetic sound that has been central to his career. Rather than dwelling on past difficulties, “Lifestyle” turns those experiences into a reason to celebrate the present.
The Sound
“Lifestyle” moves at a lively pace, with Beatport listing the track at 120 BPM. Its production combines a danceable Afrobeats rhythm with the energetic vocal style that has long been associated with Lil Kesh.
Lil Kesh’s performance is playful and self-assured, moving between melodic phrases and rhythmic lines. The arrangement keeps the emphasis on the groove and the repeated central hook, giving the song an easy-to-follow quality that works well for parties, social gatherings and everyday listening.
The production also leaves space for Lil Kesh’s personality to come through. Instead of relying on an overly complicated instrumental, the track uses rhythm, repetition and vocal energy to create its atmosphere.
What the Song Is About
The central theme of “Lifestyle” is the enjoyment of progress. Lil Kesh reflects on moving beyond periods of struggle and arriving at a point where he can appreciate comfort, travel, entertainment and financial independence.
There is an important element of gratitude beneath the celebration. The song looks back at a time when things were considerably more difficult and contrasts it with the opportunities available in the present. That change gives the record its motivational undertone.
The lifestyle being celebrated is therefore not presented simply as luxury for its own sake. It represents the result of persistence and the desire to enjoy life after putting in the work. Lil Kesh’s confident delivery reinforces the idea of someone who has experienced change and is now comfortable acknowledging his achievements.
The record also reflects Lil Kesh’s ability to turn everyday Nigerian expressions and street-oriented energy into accessible Afrobeats. Its straightforward message and rhythmic character make it a natural fit for listeners looking for music that feels positive, energetic and celebratory.
